My Purpose

I want to encourage and equip you to live the life God has purposed for you. A reminder that you didn’t control the beginning, but you can control the ending. My story starts as a bus kid who always desired going to church. God revealed to me a few years ago why, during our church camp meeting.

My husband is one and a half years older than me. My mother-in-law, Janice, talked about how they prayed for him and his future wife when he was born. During our church camp meeting, God unveiled to me that the prayers of my in-laws were honored. I never understood why I would get myself up and get ready on Sunday mornings to catch a church bus. There’s a Sunday School picture that clearly shows I was on eight year old who dressed myself! God watched over me for 18 years until I met my husband (more to come on this story).

From dating and throughout our marriage, we have always been active in church. God answered our prayers starting in 2002 and again in 2004 when we became parents of two beautiful girls. Two girls whom have been raised in church with their “Pa” as their pastor. Which leads me to my testimony: once a bus kid, now a church mom!

My purpose is to share my testimony and remind women that where you started is not where you must end. God can restore peace and purpose in you. What He did for me, He can do for you. He’s no respecter of person.
